Complete Coach Information For Coach Conway

Becky Conway

Assistant Coach - Girls 16 National

This is Becky's third year coaching for BRYC, and she is excited to be back with 16s again! Becky played high school, club and college volleyball starting with her freshman year at W.T. Woodson High School in 2006. At Woodson, she earned two-time All District honors, All Tournament Team honors and Northern-Region honorable mention as an outside hitter. She was named the team MVP her senior year in 2009, where she set (and still holds) the Woodson single-season kill record. She played club volleyball at NVVA for four seasons, and her 18s team earned a bid to USAV Nationals. An outside hitter at the University of Mary Washington for two seasons, Becky retired due to injuries, and transitioned to beach volleyball and coed indoor for two years, where her team went undefeated in both seasons. Becky graduated from UMW in 2014 with a double major: Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Economics. She currently works at Hidden Pond, a Fairfax County park, and returned to her roots to be the freshman head coach at Woodson. Her other hobbies include swimming, Harry Potter marathons (books and movies), and doing 1000+ piece puzzles.
